Sweeply is a growing residential cleaning company serving Greater Vancouver, and we’re looking for 4-5 experienced, dependable cleaning professionals to join our team.
If you already know how to professionally clean homes but don’t want to spend your time finding customers, advertising, coordinating appointments, collecting payments, and managing all the administrative work that comes with running your own cleaning business, Sweeply may be a great fit.
We take care of bringing in clients, scheduling, customer communication, marketing, and payments.
You focus on what you do best: delivering an excellent clean.
We’re looking for cleaners who take pride in their work, enjoy working independently, and want the freedom to build a schedule that works around their life.
What You Can Earn
Average earnings: $30–$40+ per hour, plus tips
Compensation is generally based on a percentage of the cleaning revenue rather than a traditional hourly wage, unless otherwise specified.
You will:
Keep 50-60% of the cleaning revenue
Keep 100% of your tips
Have the opportunity to earn more as you become efficient while continuing to maintain Sweeply's cleaning standards
Receive payouts quickly through Stripe or e-transfer
Our goal is for cleaners to earn at least approximately $32/hour on booked cleaning work, with experienced and efficient cleaners typically averaging between $30–$40+ per hour before tips.

This can work alongside your existing cleaning business, another job, school, or other commitments.
You are welcome to have your own clients outside of Sweeply.
Simply let us know the availability you want to dedicate to Sweeply and remain reliable within those hours.
Cleaning Supply Support
You will initially need your own professional cleaning equipment and supplies.
As you continue working with Sweeply, we can help you restock cleaning products through our supply program, significantly reducing your ongoing supply expenses.
What a Typical Day Looks Like
Your schedule may vary depending on your availability.
A typical day could look like this:
Receive your scheduled cleaning appointments
Review the job details and cleaning checklist through the app
Arrive within the scheduled arrival window
Clock in
Complete the home according to Sweeply's cleaning standards
Complete any requested add-on services
Finish the appointment and move on to your next scheduled home
Receive customer reviews, repeat bookings, and potentially tips
Some days may involve one larger cleaning appointment. Other days may include two or three homes.
We work around the availability you provide.
Minimum Requirements
Please apply only if you meet the following requirements.
Professional Residential Cleaning Experience
You must have at least 1 year of professional residential house-cleaning experience.
General work experience where cleaning happened to be part of the job does not qualify.
You should already be comfortable professionally cleaning occupied homes and completing residential cleaning appointments without constant supervision.
Reliability Is Extremely Important
We need people who:
Show up when scheduled
Arrive on time
Communicate when necessary
Respond to scheduling messages
Don't regularly cancel appointments
Maintain consistent weekly availability
Customers are trusting us inside their homes, so reliability is one of the most important parts of this position.
Own Vehicle
You must have:
Your own reliable vehicle
A valid driver's licence
The ability to travel between customer homes
You should be comfortable servicing at least 2–3 neighbouring cities or areas within a reasonable distance from your home.
Cleaning Equipment
You must initially have:
Your own cleaning supplies
A professional-quality vacuum
The basic equipment required to complete residential cleaning appointments
Sweeply can assist with reducing ongoing supply costs once you begin completing regular work with us.
Other Requirements
You must also:
Have no criminal record
Speak fluent, understandable English
Be physically capable of completing residential cleaning work
Have a smartphone with a data plan
Be comfortable using an app for scheduling and job information
Be comfortable working independently
Be willing to accept cleaning appointments that may be 2+ hours in length
Understand that your schedule may take several weeks to build as recurring clients are added
Full-time hours are not guaranteed immediately. We build your schedule based on your availability, location, performance, and incoming customer demand.

Vacuuming
Mopping
General home cleaning and sanitizing
You should also be comfortable completing paid add-on services such as:
Inside refrigerator cleaning
Inside oven cleaning
Laundry
Dishes
Other requested household cleaning tasks
