Tayybeh Foods is looking for a reliable, punctual, and professional Delivery Driver to support our restaurant
and catering operations. The driver is responsible for ensuring food orders and catering equipment are delivered safely, accurately, and on time throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and deliver restaurant and catering orders safely and on time.
- Count and verify all food, supplies, and equipment before leaving the kitchen.
- Ensure orders are securely packed and handled according to food safety standards.
- Set up catering orders and buffets at client and event locations as required.
- Take photos of completed catering and buffet setups when required.
- Return to client or event locations to pick up catering equipment, containers, and supplies.
- Return equipment and containers to their designated areas at the kitchen.
- Communicate with the Kitchen Manager and Operations Manager regarding delays, delivery issues, pickups, or schedule changes.
- Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records.
- Keep Tayybeh delivery vehicles clean and organized.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Report customer feedback or delivery concerns to the appropriate manager.
- Assist with loading, packing, and other delivery-related tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Valid BC Class 5 driver's licence.
- Clean driving record.
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable driving throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
- Able to safely lift and carry catering boxes, food, and equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Professional and presentable.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Intermediate English communication skills.
- Previous delivery, food service, catering, customer service, or logistics experience is an asset.
