I am an active woman with a physical disability and am looking for a Caregiver. Non smoker. Non-drinker (occasional social drinking on time off is acceptable).
The potential Caregiver must be in good physical condition, SUPER RELIABLE, FLEXIBLE, SUPER PATIENT, FRIENDLY, A FAST LEARNER and be fluent in English.
Instruction is available in Tagalog.
**It is important that the potential caregiver has a wholistic view of care, and recognizes the value of "Person Centered care"**
MUST BE AT LEAST DOUBLE VACCINATED AND BOOSTED.

*** Must have a legal work permit (Home Support)***
DUTIES INCLUDE:-
-Total personal care (washing, dressing, transferring to and from bed and wheelchair, assisting with washroom, etc).
-some housekeeping (dusting, laundry, mopping floors, etc.).
-personal and grocery shopping
-some cooking and baking (under my direction).
- accompaniment to Social and Recreational activities, or just “hanging out” and watching TV.
HOURS ARE AS FOLLOWS:-
Negotiable * (live-in for the duration of shifts). The Caregiver gets to sleep for most of the night).
8.30 pm - 8.30 pm
** Plus, if available, occasional coverage for other staff who are either sick or on vacation.
COMPENSATION: $ 300.00 (FLAT RATE before taxes). PLEASE NOTE THAT THE RATE IS A CONTRACT FLAT RATE AND NOT AN HOURLY WAGE.
