A very spacious master bedroom in the heart of West End and right in front of Sunset Beach! With an ensuite bathroom and a big walk in closet. The room could be either furnished or unfurnished, depending on what your preference is! It was also used for an arts and crafts studio, and it would be especially great for an artistic individual as a live-work studio! The apartment itself is an 1100sq ft two bedroom unit. The shared spaces include a large furnished living room with a lovely balcony with incredible views, and a fully equipped kitchen. Transportation wise, the apartment is next 2 minutes away from the bus stop for the 23 bus line which connects to either Canada Line in Yaletown and Expo Line in Chinatown. The rent includes all utilities and 1 giga fibre internet. There’s also a small underground parking space that could either fit bicycles or a motorcycle. Move in date also is very flexible!
About the roomie:
My name is Evangelos, just turning 29 years old, and I was born and raised in Greece. I am a very easy going person that deeply cares about and values honesty, direct and open communication and transparency. Very much on the neurodivergent side (ADHD) and thus I find it easier connectng and relating to people with a similar experience (but of course this does not mean that I can’t connect with anyone else!) I am an incredibly curious and knowledge seeking individual that loves engaging with the world and chasing new experiences. Definitely on the nerdy side of things, some of my passions/hobbies are gaming, travelling, cooking and photography. I love history, philosophy, and I harbour a deep appreciating for art.
When it comes to work, I am a psychotherapist by trade. Most days I have late afternoon to late evening shifts (so I am gone from the house during those hours) and I typically have one day during the week where I work from home.
The roomate I am looking for is above everything a chill person that is respectuful, relaxed and drama-free. I would love for the co-habitation to feel like a friendship but of course only if it comes naturally! I’d be down to doing joint stuff like cooking, playing games, hanging out every now and then, but it’s not a requirement by any means. I require plenty of alone time myself to recharge so having someone that feels similarly is more than understandable. Ideally, you would not be working from home and you’d be having a night away during the weekend, but emphasis on the ideally, finding the right match that resonates is far more important for me!
