Askar 103APO refractor - $1,400 (Vancouver)
QR Code Link to This Post
I bought this telescope new, but shifting priorities meant I never got to take it outside. It is in pristine, new-in-box condition with the original case, packaging and included accessories.
Specifications:
- 103 mm air-spaced ED triplet APO
- 700.4 mm focal length
- f/6.8
- 3.3" dual-speed rack-and-pinion focuser
- 360° rotator
- Retractable dew shield
- Tube rings and multifunctional handle
- 290 mm Vixen-style dovetail
- 2" / 1.25" visual adapters
An excellent medium-focal-length refractor for both astrophotography and visual use.
I also have the dedicated Askar 0.8 full-frame reducer/flattener, also brand new and never used, available separately. It reduces the 103APO to 560 mm at f/5.44.
OTA only - mount not included.
Located in the Vancouver area. Local pickup/inspection welcome, but shipping in Canada is available.
