A local public-sector organization is hiring dependable Substitute Cafeteria Workers to provide coverage on an as-needed basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants flexible daytime work and is available to accept shifts when coverage is needed.

Because this position works within a public-sector environment, selected candidates must successfully complete and meet the requirements of a fingerprint-based background screening to be eligible for this job.
This is an on-call substitute position. Hours are not guaranteed. We are specifically looking for candidates who are serious about being available when contacted for assignments.
What You'll Do
Assist with basic food preparation and meal service
Serve food and provide friendly customer service
Stock food, beverages, and kitchen supplies
Wash dishes, trays, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Clean and sanitize food preparation and service areas
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Assist the kitchen team wherever needed
What We're Looking For
Dependable and able to report to work when accepting an assignment
Available for weekday/daytime shifts Monday–Friday- NO weekends- Summers OFF
Comfortable standing and working on your feet throughout the shift
Able to work in a fast-paced food-service environment
Professional, positive, and willing to work as part of a team
Previous cafeteria, restaurant, hospitality, kitchen, or food-service experience is helpful but not required
Valid Drivers License
