We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Unarmed Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the environment through surveillance systems, patrolling designated areas, and ensuring compliance with security regulations. Your proactive approach will help prevent incidents, manage emergencies, and maintain a safe atmosphere for staff, visitors, and property. Responsibilities
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Operate access control systems to verify authorized entry and exit of personnel and visitors.
• Utilize CCTV surveillance equipment to observe activity across various zones and identify potential security threats.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual occurrences.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations by following established procedures, including fire alarms or medical emergencies.
• Perform background checks on visitors or contractors as required to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques effectively to resolve disputes calmly and professionally.
Requirements
• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance technology, CCTV operation, access control systems, and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or incident management.
• Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and fire safety is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to write clear incident reports and maintain detailed logs.
• Familiarity with security tools such as Tasers (where legally permitted) and firearm handling (if applicable).
• Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties and stand for extended periods while maintaining alertness.
• Commitment to compliance with all security regulations and protocols to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
