Iowa Outdoor Products is looking to hire experienced Landscape Construction Crew Leaders with a strong attention to detail to manage a team of 2 to 3 crew members in the layout, execution and completion of landscape projects on both residential and commercial properties. This position is perfect for someone looking to have the opportunity to grow within a 40 year old landscape company. Iowa Outdoor Products works all winter long.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Effectively communicate with the design team, customers and crew members to perform job duties
- Ability to problem solve using "out-of-the-box" and creative solutions
- Manage a clean and efficient jobsite
- Complete daily work tickets
- Train new and existing crew members
- Maintain trucks, tools and equipment
- Snow removal on commercial and residential properties
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Great communications skills, both written and verbal
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the industry or related field
- Experience using an assortment of landscape hand and power tools
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. sometimes repeatedly
- Work outside in varying degrees of weather
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to manage multiple job duties and multiple jobs
