MOVING and LOADING HELP (Hood River)

Up to four (4) people needed to perform moderate lifting and carrying of furniture and moving boxes and bags down a single flight of indoor stairs, and to load these and more of the same items into an enclosed trailer on Monday, September 28th, between the hours of 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.
Any person (up to 4) who shows up between those hours will be paid hourly from the time they arrive until 2:00 pm, or until the job is finished, or until they quit or are dismissed, whichever comes first.
Wages are to be paid per quarter hour, rounded up to the next quarter hour, until 2:00 pm. Be willing to work dilligently.
Wages are $40 per hour ($10 per 15 minutes) for up to 4 people. First come, first serve.
Be prepared to really work. Anyone observed to not be displaying an honest effort will be dismissed with pay for their time served. If anyone quits or is dismissed early, any later arrivals may take their place and be paid from that time onward.
Many hands make for an easy labor. But there is only enough money budgeted for four workers. If the moving and loading job is finished early, you will be paid up to that point, rounded up to the next quarter hour of work. Those who prove their dilligence may be rewarded with a bonus.
If the moving and loading tasks are finished early, then for anyone who wishes to continue working, there will be an option to add on cleaning duties until the 2:00 hour has come or the apartment has been cleaned, whichever comes first.
Cold soft drinks and warm pizza will be provided for a brief paid lunch break, and any leftovers will go home with the workers.
Please, no drugs or alcohol. Tobacco smoking only permitted during a brief break outside. Please respect others around you.
This job will take place in a quiet apartment complex. Workers are expected to be civil, clean, and respectful of the items being moved, and of the people and facilities around them.
Theft will not be tolerated. However, some of the furniture is planned for disposal. Any of those pieces will be set alongside the trailer. And, after the job is finished, anyone who wishes may take any and all of those pieces in addition to their salary. Unclaimed pieces will be disposed of.
Please, this is an informal, one-time gig position on Craigslist. No implied taxes or withholding. Payment will be in cash, only.
