The bike is the best I've ever ridden, and I've ridden a few in my time... this one has power, but it's also lightweight at 235 lbs. (according to the PO, I never bothered putting it on a scale). In other words, if you're older (like me) you can still easily wheel the bike out of the shed or garage, it's not like wheeling out my old KLR (dubbed "Porky Pig" due to its weight, lol). Dunno why KTM calls this bike the 530, it's actually only 510cc... maybe it's a marketing ploy, the cheap bastards, lol.
Anyway, I took some pics yesterday, but I did NOT wheel the bike out of the shed... you can see most of the bike in these pics, and I can always take more photos for a serious buyer. That's a T4 pipe, and the wheels (plus other accessories) are made by Tusk. Dunlop D606 knobbies, always my favorite tires on the trail, or on tough technical sections (akin to trials riding)... plenty of life left in those tires too. The suspension is adjustable, and I have the manual but I never messed with the suspension because it suited me just fine.
I'm selling my baby because I'm experiencing some age-related issues, getting old sucks but it beats the alternative... feeding the buzzards, coyotes & worms, lol. Lots of life left in this badass bike, the right person will love it. I've been a rider all my life too, so the bike has not been mistreated during my ownership, lol. It has seen me through some great adventures in the high desert and nearby mountains, I'm gonna miss the trail riding but I'm leaning more toward kayaking and sailing at this point in my life.
Fall overboard and land in water, not on hard, sun-baked, stony ground, lol... though I never dumped THIS bike, aye? It has been a good bike for me, and the relatively light weight has made it easy for me to wheel the bike out of the shed, despite some permanent injuries unrelated to motocross or trail riding. Check the pics, maybe you'll like what you see... everything is in good working order, and I've taken good care of the bike. Always stored in its shed, out of the elements.
Bike comes with the obligatory box of extra parts and whatnot, a KTM manual and other books in that case shown, plus some extra oil, fuel stabilizer, etc. I might even throw in my full-coverage MX helmet, though it's a 5XL due to my fat head, lol. Whatever I bought to go with the bike, that's what goes with the bike, yeah? I won't have any need for it once I retire from trail riding... it has been one hell of a ride too, spanning at least 5 decades, but I've been plagued with arthritis lately, so it's time to go sailing!
Bike has new sticker and "Paved Road" NM plate, title is clean & clear since I paid cash for the bike when I bought it. Current registration consists of a small card that goes in your wallet, and the registration is good until 2028 or whenever. Serious buyers only for this badass thumper, no tire kickers or freeloaders looking for a ride, that ain't gonna happen so don't waste your time (or mine). This bike will let you tackle a wide range of trails, though I avoided the rockier trails in order to spare the Dunlop rubber, lol.
If you're an experienced rider & disciple of the Metal Mulisha or Crusty Demons of Dirt, then this bike has your name written all over it. It's not really a bike for a rank novice, as it has plenty of power and it can easily get sideways in turns, lol. I love the light weight of this bike, I wish I had bought a bike like this sooner in my life, but I've ridden some Jap bikes that were set up nicely too, so no big deal. This bike has been a pure pleasure to ride, and it has never let me down on any trail. CHEERS!!!
P.S. I'm not always on the web, as I'm rehabbing a home I bought and I don't want the Internet at my house yet... a man can waste a metric sh!t ton of time on the web, lol. Being an old school vertical skater, BMX & MX rider, technical rock climber, etc, as well as a disciple of Joel Skousen, I deliberately have a flip-phone, so no web on that either, lol. Edit: Wolfman saddlebags were sold for $600, so they're no longer available. I only rode the bike once or twice since I last posted, too busy doing the home rehab work on this trailer. I also wanna sink some money into a boat project of mine, so I can go sailing & camping at Elephant Butte Lake & Caballo Lake in the near future. I reckon the time has come to unload this bike, much as I like it... it needs to go to somebody who'll put it to good use. Moi, I recently turned 64, so I'm gonna focus upon sailing & kayaking now, bones don't break when ya fall into water, lol. Serious buyers only, no lowball wanks, aye? Great, the tards didn't repost my pics of the bike... I'll try to take some more pics and post 'em on Monday, when I'm back at the library with my laptop computer. Sheeeee-it, I wouldn't have wasted $5 if I'd known this was gonna happen.
Further edit: Pics aren't the greatest, I was in a hurry so I didn't haul the bike out of the shed... stains on shed floor have nothing to do with the bike, they were in place when I arrived, lol. Front hub matches rear hub, nice blue color with stainless spokes and black Tusk rims. I'll try to post better pics next week, figured these would do for starters.
