They are curious and friendly, a bit skittish but they calm down with a gentle hand. Last two photos are of their dam and sire, both of which are great breeders and very friendly and calm.
Tamuk rabbits were introduced by the Texas A&M University at Kensington who wanted a breed that better suited our hot and humid Texas climate. Tamuk rabbits are a combination of several different breeds. They can breed year round, have a fast growth rate and good meat to bone ratio. These docile rabbits are known for having long ears, thin pelts, and are excellent mothers having litters of 6-10 kits with good survival rate.
