I honestly don't know where else to turn, so I'm putting this out there and hoping the right person sees it.
My husband and I are currently homeless and trying desperately to get our lives back on track. We don't have much right now, but we are willing to work. We aren't looking for someone to simply give us something—we're looking for someone willing to give us an opportunity.
If you have a room, small house, apartment, property, or even a place that needs some serious work, we'd be willing to earn our stay by helping with whatever needs to be done.
Cleaning. Yard work. Painting. Organizing. Property maintenance. Moving things. General labor. Whatever honest work you need help with, we're willing to talk about it.
We're not expecting anything fancy. We just want a safe place to sleep, a chance to work, and an opportunity to start rebuilding our lives.
We're willing to start immediately and are open to discussing a reasonable work-for-housing arrangement that works for everyone.
