I have a pristine , museum-quality matching set of three 1940's NESCO hot-dipped Galvanized cans in new old stock condition. They have been used to store linens inside a seasonal Lake Superior cabin since the 40's. The interiors and bottoms still completely shine, and the red paper decals are intact. Crucially, they included the original, wire-attached shipping tag tracing them directly from the Marshall-Wells Company warehouse in Duluth to the historic Scandinavian Co-op Mercantile in Two Harbors, Mn. I'm looking to sell the Trio as a historic set. I'm seeking a fair retail valuation in the $1300 to $1700 range. These will be picked up in Two Harbors. Mn.
