Xotic X-Blender switchable series/parallel loop pedal. This is the pedalboard equivalent of a mixing console's aux send/return: instead of running your entire signal through a chain of effects, it feeds the effects a separate signal and preserves your guitar's dry tone and dynamics, then lets you blend the two. It's the tool for parallel processing tricks - keeping your dry signal intact under a fuzz, reverb, or modulation loop, reinforcing effects that thin out your low end, or adding true bypass switching to a group of pedals with one stomp.
Two modes: Series mode is a simple true bypass effects loop with no buffering and all controls disabled. Parallel mode activates the buffer and the large Dry/Wet mix knob, which sweeps from fully dry to fully wet and is sized so you can adjust it with your foot on the fly. The wet path also gets its own Volume control and 2-band EQ (Treble and Bass) to tailor the effected signal, a Boost switch adding +6dB, and a Phase Invert switch to correct polarity issues with vintage-style wahs and boosters that would otherwise cancel when blended with the dry signal. All analog with zero latency on the dry path, built with Xotic's typically transparent audio-grade components. Runs on 9V center negative or battery.
