For sale is an Esquire partscaster made using a Wildwood Swamp Ash body and a Musikraft Gibson scale neck in heavy relic condition (This has the same string tension as a Les Paul for easier note bends and a slightly shorter 24.75” scale.) Functionally, it’s in excellent condition. The neck is finished in nitro with and has a 21 fret, C shaped neck that is a 60s slim taper profile with a 9.5” radius and 1 5/8” vintage nut width. The frets are level and the action is low for a fast playing neck. The truss rod works as it should, and the neck is straight. In terms of hardware and electronics, this has aged strap buttons, control plate with knobs, a Kluson bridge with the compensated brass saddles, along with Gotoh locking vintage tuning machines. The bridge pickup is a Cavalier Nocaster Holy Grail Lion with Alnico A3 magnets. This features CTS pots and an Orange Drop Cap wired to Arlo Mod specs (Position 1 - Direct to output jack with no tone control; Position 2 - Tone control engaged; and Position 3 - A cocked wah position with more mids than an Eldred mod). This is a great sounding and great playing guitar. The guitar weighs 7.4 lbs. $800 firm.
