CORE SETUP
• Fully custom-made paludarium build inside a front-opening glass enclosure, with planted background, suspended false-bottom island and lower water area.
• Sandblasted ghostwood hardscape sealed with clear Pond Armor epoxy.
• ABG planting mix, LECA clay balls, charcoal and a weed-barrier layer. Island drainage returns to the lower water area.
• Adjustable-flow waterfall pump with sponge filter media and cotton floss. The filter is accessed by lifting the rocks concealing it.
ACCESSORIES
• Two 24W Arcadia LumenIZE Jungle Dawn LEDBAR plant lights with Bluetooth scheduling and dimming.
• Arcadia LumenIZE ProT5 7% UVB fixture, unused, plus Dual Link adapter.
• MistKing pump and ST-24 seconds timer; three installed misting assemblies, including two double-head assemblies.
• Black 5-gallon misting reservoir with Gamma Seal screw-on lid.
• Custom lid with glass and 304 stainless-steel woven wire mesh (8 mesh).
• 80 x 38 mm circulation fan with variable-speed controller.
PLANTS
• Four jewel orchids: one Macodes petola plus three other jewel orchids.
• Alocasia, Hoya, pothos and a tropical fan plant; exact species/cultivars unconfirmed.
• Mixed mosses and additional trailing/climbing plants.
• Established planting, ready for a trim.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
• Extra bag of Stratum aquatic substrate included.
• Originally designed with electric blue day geckos (Lygodactylus williamsi) in mind. No geckos are present or included. Before adding animals, please fit a secure vented cover over the rear cord/service gap and provide suitable escape routes or species-appropriate protection around the open water. These changes and a suitability check for your chosen species are needed before housing animals.
• Plants and equipment only; no animals included.
• Optional Safco 5247BL heavy-duty boltless steel shelving available separately for $100. Black, 36 in W x 24 in D x 72 in H. Not included in the $850 paludarium price.
• Tulsa pickup only. No shipping or delivery.
• This is a very heavy setup, so please plan for rolling pickup on a flat, fully supporting surface rather than hand-carrying. We will need to agree on the cart, vehicle and loading arrangements before collection. For safe transport, drain the water and secure or remove loose heavy materials first; the enclosure cannot be moved filled with water.
