Skilled Laborer for work with Truckee-based General Contracting firm, specializing in custom home building and renovations.
We're looking for one person to fill a full-time position (possible part-time options), working in Truckee and the greater Tahoe Region, on new construction and general renovation projects, and punch-list work. Must be extremely motivated and take real initiative, demonstrating the ability to work alone on some smaller projects, and also work well on a small team on bigger jobs. Looking for a do-it-all!
Must be able to organize a jobsite, keep it clean, help carpenters with their tasks, handle painting, staining, and sanding, moving materials, shoveling snow, driving trucks/equipment, demo, basic understanding of carpentry/drywall/painting, etc.
This is not a hide-out, so come with skills and motivation to get'er done.
While efficiency is preferred, quality is demanded.
Our goal is not to build the most houses, but to build the best homes.
Pay starting at $26+ /hour range depending upon experience and capabilities. Compensation includes matching 401-k, 5 paid days off per year. Must have valid working papers/ID, and speak English.
Must have basic tool set-up and truck/transportation.
All job sites are non-smoking, drug-free, and pet-free.
All candidates will be required to do a drug-screening.
All personnel on a job site are required to abide by OSHA safety protocol and have OSHA10 card (or be willing to get it in the first month).
