Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking General Laborer to assist with construction site cleanup and general labor duties. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and organized job sites by removing construction-generated debris, keeping work areas tidy, organizing materials, and assisting with miscellaneous tasks as directed by the Site Superintendent.
Responsibilities
Pick up trash and debris from job site grounds, walkways, parking areas, and surrounding work areas.
Collect and remove trash generated by ongoing construction activities.
Load and fill dump trailers and dumpsters with construction debris and waste.
Sweep floors, walkways, and other designated areas.
Vacuum floors and surfaces as needed.
Wipe down surfaces, remove dust, and perform general cleaning of designated areas.
Organize, stack, and relocate construction materials as directed.
Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas throughout the job site.
Snow removal during winter months.
Assist with miscellaneous cleanup and general labor tasks as assigned by the Site Superintendent.
Follow all job site safety rules and instructions.
Qualifications
Must have reliable personal transportation to and from construction job sites.
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions.
Must be comfortable performing physical labor throughout the workday.
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and debris as required.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Construction experience is preferred but not required.
Must maintain a professional attitude and a strong work ethic.
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
Payroll employee position with applicable taxes and withholdings.
Work assignments and daily priorities will be coordinated by the Site Superintendent.
