I’ve owned the truck for over 10 years and have mostly used it as an occasional-use/backup vehicle, which is part of the reason the mileage is relatively low for its age.
It’s been a great mountain vehicle with a ton of passenger and cargo space, and it comes with two complete sets of wheels and tires for summer and winter.
Local service during my ownership has been handled by Ward & Sons Automotive and The AutoDoctor in Truckee.
The truck is currently running well and has recently been gone through by a mechanic before sale.

The factory stereo has been replaced with a touchscreen head unit with Apple CarPlay. BOSS Elite BE62CP.
Recent maintenance / inspection. I’ve gone through the truck before listing it rather than just putting it up as-is. Recent work includes:
New battery
New engine air filter
Mass airflow sensor cleaned
Rear suspension bump stops replaced
Engine, steering, suspension and linkages inspected by a mechanic
Vehicle history: Clean Title in hand. CARFAX report available to interested buyers. CARFAX is clean, shows no accidents or damage reported, no total-loss history, no odometer rollback indication and no salvage/rebuilt/flood title issues reported. It also shows 18 service-history records and a long California history.
The truck has repeatedly passed California emissions inspections, including its most recent recorded inspection in September 2025.
This is still a 24-year-old truck, so it has normal cosmetic wear and age-related imperfections. I’m not representing it as restored or perfect, but it presents well for its age and has been a very useful vehicle for us.
