Professional multi speed air purifier filter. This is working well. Have removed the old worn out charcoal filter and am including two new/unused charcoal sheets (not shown)- one to go in front of the unit as a pre-filter and another to go right behind the Truman Cell.

The ion generator is working correctly and you can really sense the "after a thunderstorm" smell from the charged particles in the air when you turn it on. Removes odors, dust particles, cigarette smoke, pet dander, etc. The metal Truman cell trap part is removable and should be washed gently on a regular basis. For replacement filters you can buy charcoal filter sheets and cut them to size and you can also improvise your own filters using air conditioner filter foam or you can purchase replacements. This MAY use the same size filters as the more common Oreck XL X, etc. but not positive.
