Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our meat packing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising employees, coordinating daily production activities, maintaining records, handling paperwork, and ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
This position is primarily focused on management, organization, paperwork, and employee supervision, with some physical work required when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise, manage, and coordinate a team of employees.
* Oversee daily operations and ensure work is completed efficiently.
* Handle administrative duties, paperwork, recordkeeping, and reports.
* Coordinate employee tasks, schedules, and daily responsibilities.
* Monitor productivity, organization, and cleanliness throughout the facility.
* Help resolve operational issues and keep daily activities on track.
* Assist with physical tasks and lifting when needed.
* Maintain a professional, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
* GED or high school diploma required; higher education is welcome.
* Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
* Ability to supervise employees and manage daily operations.
* Basic computer skills and the ability to handle paperwork and records.
* Must be dependable, punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented.
* Must be physically active and able to perform occasional heavy lifting when needed.
* Previous management, supervisory, meat processing, or warehouse experience is preferred.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site management position in a meat packing facility. The role is primarily administrative and supervisory, but the manager must be willing to assist with hands-on tasks as needed.
Compensation
Pay will be discussed in person based on experience and qualifications.
