At JAK Logistics, we are seeking two full time professional Class A TEAM drivers with doubles endorsements for our Unassigned Tracy, CA OTR run. This schedule may rotate days dependent on HOS and freight, but the regular schedule is a 10 AM Tuesday dispatch in Tracy. You must be prepared to run up to two weeks at a time. There will be down time at hubs depending on freight volume from hub to hub(we pay you extra for this). This is a team OTR position and we run wherever the freight sends us. Predominantly we run 53' trailers with doubles ran approximately 20-30% of the time. We won't bullshit or lie to you. We just keep it real. The truck is parked in Sacramento and used for a paid commute down to Tracy unless you are a team that lives in the Tracy area. Medical, dental, vision, vacation, 401k, life insurance, long term disability, and short term disability available after 30 days. If you're not an already made team then you must be fine with team driving. We will partner you with an experienced codriver.
This is a TEAM position. No owner operators. Driver must have a minimum two years of tractor trailer experience pulling doubles within the last three years or three years of driving experience within the last five years. Mileage and runs will vary because this is an unassigned team OTR run. Take every load given with no dispatch refused and you'll be on a $2,000 minimum weekly gross flat rate. $0.80 CPM to the truck. You must be tech savvy enough to complete monthly online training, a pre, en-route, and post trip inspection process with a company app, and the new hire onboarding process, which can all be done from any smartphone.
Pay:
- Already a FedEx approved and active driver? Sign on bonus available
- Weekly pay with direct deposit paid every Friday.
- Monthly cell phone payment available.
- FedEx approved active drivers/drivers currently working for FedEx are strongly preferred. Veterans also preferred. Otherwise qualified candidates will be considered.
Requirements:
- Doubles / Triples endorsement required. No Hazmat required.
- Minimum of 2 years of tractor trailer experience required.
- Dependable transportation is required. Trucks are not taken home. You must be ready to show up on time every week with no call offs. You must be willing to adhere to all FedEx and company policies.

Your truck is a 12 speed automatic 2024 Freightliner Cascadia with refrigerator, microwave, and power inverter. We have a Ryder maintenance program so our fleet stays maintained. If there is a breakdown on the highway, road service is just a call away. If the truck can’t be repaired then a subunit will be brought out to you, minimizing down time.
