Surge Fleet Systems, an independent FedEx Ground contractor, is hiring experienced commercial truck drivers for delivery routes in Stockton, CA.
Location: Drivers report daily to the FedEx Ground terminal at 5655 Hood Way, Tracy, CA, and deliver packages in Stockton.
Basic Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license (regular Class C okay, commercial driver’s license not required)
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Commercial truck driving experience required
• Strong safety record and ability to safely operate commercial trucks
• No DUI or cell phone violations within the past 3 years
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug test (including marijuana)
What You’ll Do:
• Safely and efficiently deliver FedEx packages
• Load and unload packages
• Navigate assigned routes using GPS and FedEx delivery technology
• Provide excellent customer service
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and safely operate company trucks
Compensation:
• $190 per day
• Approximately $950 per week based on 5 days worked
• Paid training provided
• Company truck provided
