Website Description: Kenji is an 85-pound German Shepherd with an athletic spirit and a serious love of having a job. He's smart, playful, food and toy motivated, and would be an excellent partner for someone interested in activities like dock diving, Fast CAT (Coursing Ability Test), flyball, disc, hiking, or other adventures. He especially loves the water and long outings where he can put his energy to good use. Despite his big personality and high drive, Kenji is fairly independent and doesn't need to be glued to your side. He knows basic obedience, is crate trained, house trained, and walks well with proper equipment.
He does best with mellow dogs and can be selective with male dogs, while his high prey drive means he is not a fit for cats. Kenji is looking for an active, experienced home that understands working breeds and can give him the exercise, structure, and mental stimulation he needs to thrive. If you're looking for a smart, athletic adventure buddy with plenty of personality, Kenji is ready to get to work! Kenji is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations.
