Class A Driver Wanted for a 9-car hauler. Must have clean record. Driving experience required, preferrably in a 48-53' truck. Willing to train load/unload of vehicles. Work ranges from Modesto, CA up to Sacramento and the greater Bay Area. Truck yard in Tracy, CA. Fast paced work environment, must be self motivated and eager to work. Must meet DOT requirements, including passing random drug and alcohol tests. Work week is MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY.
Benefits:
W-2 pay scale based off experience and truck type, $25-$35/hr with expected overtime.
Small business, no insurance benefits currently offered.
5-day sick time, per CA state regulation.
1-week paid vacation, after 1 year.
Annual safety training included.
Job Responsibilities and Requirments inlcude, but not limited to:
Must be 23 or over to apply and a minium of 3-year driving history.
Successful completion of criminal background check, motor vehicle record and drug screen per DOT requirements.
Must be able to safely operate heavy equipment and walk long distances.
Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
Hook and tie down cars for transport following outlined procedures and guidelines.
Transport and deliver cars between dealerships, body shops, branches and auctions as requested.
Keep track of time and transports for billing.
Take photos and make proper pre-trip inspections of any damages to vehicles.
