We are currently seeking a Certified Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, along with the necessary certifications to validate their expertise. As a Certified Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and related components.
• Conduct thorough inspections and preventive maintenance services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with diesel engines.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify and fix problems.
• Replace or repair faulty parts, components, and systems efficiently.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
• Adhere to all safety standards and regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship program preferred.
• ASE certification or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Diesel Technician.
• In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and related components.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
