Here is an opportunity to get a bass cheap and "make it your own". This is a standard size, fully carved doublebass made by John Juzak. I'm a piano rebuilder, and a bit of a "luthier enthusiast". I took this bass from a friend. I made enough repairs to make it play, make it sing again. It's playing now. You can come try it. you could buy this cheap, take it to your luthier, make it fantastic. String length is 42 inches. Wikipedia says Ron Carter and Christian McBride both play Juzak basses. If you want to play jazz on this bass, I'm promising you, this bass growls.
Want to try it? Introduce yourself first. Bring your bow. I can show it in Towson or in Baltimore. Video available.
