These are from my late father’s collection. They are mostly 1930’s, 40’s and early 50’s albums. They are typically Big Band, Swing, Early Jazz, and Easy Listening genres.
There are 148 individual LP’s, and 53 boxed record sets, all in original sleeves and boxes.
My dad was more of a collector than a listener. He had a high-end Dual turntable, and the highest-end (at the time) Shure cartridge, and used a Discwasher record cleaning system every time he played them. I doubt that he played any of them more than one or two times. He was quite meticulous, and as a result, these records appear to be in pristine condition. I have checked out just a few of them, and they are indeed in fine condition.
I have categorized all of these on a large Excel spreadsheet, and if there is interest in buying the collection, I’d like to hear from you. I'd add the spreadsheet to this post, but craigslist doesn't accept Excel format.
