PHOTOGRAPHY ASSISTANT NEEDED ASAP - Germantown/Tivoli, NY /Greater Hudson Valley
HUDSON VALLEY FASHION/PORTRAIT SHOOTS
Experienced fashion/portrait photographer looking for a reliable, organized photography assistant familiar with f-stops, shutter speeds, strobes, etc., to help with upcoming fashion and portrait shoots throughout the Hudson Valley.
*** MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH NIKON CAMERA SETTINGS. ***
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in fashion /portrait photography, photography production, or building hands-on experience on professional shoots. Photography students are encouraged to apply as long as you know the basic camera functions.
The right person is:
-Reliable, punctual, and responsible
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced shoot environment
-Able to take direction and anticipate what needs to be done
-Professional, friendly, and easy to work with
-Has their own reliable transportation, as shoots may take place at different locations throughout the Hudson Valley
Duties will include:
-Helping set up and break down lighting and camera equipment
-Carrying and organizing photography gear
-Assisting with lighting and equipment changes
-Maintaining f-stop and shutter speed settings throughout shoot
-General production assistance as needed
The photographer has many years of professional experience in fashion, portrait, and headshot photography in Los Angeles and is now building his photography work in the Hudson Valley.
Compensation: $500- $750 per shoot.
