This is a clean 2007 Chevy Impala SS. $4,600 OBO. I have been the owner since 89,000 miles in 2018. Everything works. Black leather interior. "SS" stitching on the headrests. Bose Stereo, multi-CD Changer. Power Seats. Sunroof. AUX input for Bluetooth or whatever. Spoiler. Tinted windows. Has two sets of keys and fobs with remote start.
It came from Yakima, purchased in Missoula. I needed a strong, steady cruiser to cover between company offices (Bozeman and Puget Sound) plus a couple trips to New Mexico and Michigan. The miles you see are mostly extended highway miles.
I used it all season with snow tires. Front wheel drive plus a heavy V8 provides sure footing in the winter. Even at icy 4 way stops in Bozeman. We preferred to use the Impala for long-haul Christmas Montana-Wyoming trips.
The engine has an oil pan heater. Superior to engine block heater since this directly heats the engine's oil. You're starting your car with warm, easy flowing happy oil.
Along the way, I replaced the front wheel hubs (bearings) and steering rack. I use Power Stop Drilled and Slotted rotors. Rebuilt the transmission with clutch pack upgrade (Gateway Transmission) and also replaced the engine oil pick up tube. Very recently...A/C lines replaced. New water pump, radiator and hoses. New Tires just a couple miles ago (see pic of rubber nubs). Only full-synthetic oil with Mobil 1 or Purolator Boss oil filters. Early on I was even having the oil tested to make sure the engine was healthy, just like the YouTuber mechanics.
Windshield has cracks. During the last alignment I was told that the end links will needs replacement at some point. The starter's solenoid hesitates on retraction, so it sometimes makes a noise on the flywheel on a cold start. I should have used an AC Delco OEM replacement!
