This is an advertisement for a product design, development, & prototyping service.
I'm a degreed engineer in Tempe with 15 years of technical experience. If you have an idea for a physical product, I turn it into a working prototype you can hold, test, and show to people.
Work I take on:
- New product ideas that only exist as a sketch or a description
- Inventions that need a working model before you pitch or fund them
- Improvements to an existing product that doesn't quite do the job
- Enclosures, housings, mounts, and brackets for electronics and devices
- Custom parts and assemblies built for one specific use
How it works. You describe the idea. A sketch, a photo, or a conversation is enough to start. I ask questions until I understand what it needs to do. Then I design it, make it, and we test it. Each round gets closer to a part that fits, functions, and holds up to real use. If something won't work the way you pictured it, I'll tell you early and explain what would.
You own the design files when we're done. You aren't locked in to me. You can take the files to a manufacturer, an investor, or another shop.
Where my work ends. My job is to get you to a validated prototype, meaning a version that's been built and proven to work. Mass production, sourcing, and manufacturing are a different specialty.
Most projects are quoted after we talk through the idea. I'm not the right fit if you need thousands of units next month, or if you want someone to approve your idea without testing it.
Tell me what you're trying to make and what problem it solves. A sketch or photo helps. I'll tell you honestly whether I can help and what the first step would be.
I also reverse engineer obsolete parts and provide 3D printing services.
