Pool Table Buyers’ Guide
#1 Buy the Brand. Buy by Name.
Below are six brands I like. A table built in the United States has an advantage that it’s never been flat pack and shipped from China. It’s just sturdier furniture. All of the Buckhorn tables and many Connelly tables were built in Arizona.

#2 Ignore the Felt Color (It’s actually called cloth)
Cloth is cheap and easy to replace!
When you look at the table, try to see it without the cloth. If we re-cloth the table at the time of the move it's a small additional fee.
Ask yourself,
Do I like the wood grain and texture? Do I like the finish color?
#3 Things You Don’t Want
Single Slate. Everyone charges a lot more to move a single slate table. All the tables I listed above are 3 piece slate tables.
A non slate table. If it’s not a slate table don’t bother. It’ll never play right.
A table with a ball return. They’re loud. Very heavy, and if something goes wrong with it, you have 750lbs of rock sitting on top of the whole thing.
