Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Granite Shop Manager to oversee production and installation operations, manage installation crews, and ensure quality control across multiple job sites. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, skilled at resolving production and installation challenges, and committed to excellence by delivering projects on time and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage shop production and installation teams across various job sites.
Oversee inventory management and procurement of materials.
Coordinate daily cut and production schedules to ensure timely project completion.
Conduct pre-installation assessments for job readiness.
Resolve on-site issues promptly to prevent delays and ensure high-quality outcomes.
Train and mentor installation crews to promote best practices.
Conduct post-installation quality checks to ensure customer satisfaction.
Address customer inquiries regarding installations and maintain effective communication.
Collaborate with scheduling and project managers to ensure seamless workflow.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards at all sites.
Requirements:
Proven experience in granite or stone installation and management.
Proficiency in tools and equipment for stone fabrication and installation.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication abilities.
Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Experience:
5 years experience in a granite shop management role.
Compensation: $35+/per hour depending on experience.
