General Construction Laborer Needed (Tehachapi)

In this order:
1. French drain repair
To prepare for the winter storms, I’ll need help digging around the foundation perimeter to find the existing French drain and repair it. I have some experience in this area so will not need an expert on French drain construction, but can teach you.
2. Replace Rain Gutters
There are existing damaged gutters which I need removed and replaced. I’ll probably hire a contractor for this and might need minor help in this area.
3. Retaining wall
There is a hillside to the north of my house which needs to be held back to prevent mudflow so I’ll be hiring a contractor to dig out the hillside and will need help when constructing the framing for the retaining wall.
4. Fire Preparedness (Phase 1)
I need to remove plants and anything flammable from around the house as well as demolish an old wooden shed which was built right next to the house.
5. Solar Ground Mount
I need to construct a ground mount array to expand my system. Again I can teach anyone who wants to learn about solar system construction. For this project I’ll need to dig and pour concrete into post holes for the main array supports and will need assistance lifting panels into place safely.
6. Fire Preparedness (Phase 2)
I’m installing a property wide sprinkler system which will require digging and installing underground water piping to distributed sprinkler heads. I have experience in this area and can teach you also. In addition, I’m adding sprinklers to the structures with a water recycling system to capture site runoff.

7. Wood Flooring Installation
Throughout the first floor, I’ll need to remove doors and elevate them a few inches off the ground to clear wood flooring I plan to install over the existing concrete. To achieve this it will require extensive drywall incisions which will be repaired later.
7. Bathroom & Kitchen Remodel
I need to demo it to remove the tile and redo the water proofing for the shower. If you’d like to learn about tile work, again I can teach you what I know. I also need to demo the existing kitchen to install new kitchen cabinets.
After demolition I plan to remodel both rooms and custom build cabinets. If you want to learn basic woodworking, I can teach that also.
