Zina’s Steakhouse & Grill in Teaneck, NJ is hiring an experienced full-time Steakhouse Line Cook.
We are looking for a dependable professional with strong experience working the grill and sauté stations in a busy restaurant. Applicants must know all steak temperatures, properly sear and rest steaks, follow recipes, and maintain consistent presentation and quality.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare steaks, seafood, chicken, pasta, appetizers, and side dishes
* Work grill, sauté, fryer, and prep stations
* Handle multiple orders during busy dinner service
* Follow food-safety and sanitation standards
* Maintain a clean, organized station
* Assist with preparation, inventory, and kitchen closing duties
* Work professionally with the entire kitchen team
Requirements:
* Previous steakhouse or high-volume restaurant experience required
* Strong knowledge of steak temperatures and cooking techniques
* Must be reliable, fast, clean, organized, and able to work under pressure
* Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays
* Must be able to work independently when necessary
* Beginners will not be considered
