Jeff’s Carpentry is looking for a skilled carpenter to join our team
We are looking for someone with a wide variety of general carpentry skills from frame to finish. The right person should be able to follow directions from lead carpenter, take pride in clean, quality work, be reliable, and be willing to go where they are needed, mainly around the South Shore and Bristol County on different types of jobs
Daily hours May differ depending on work needed for the day, but will average 32 to 38 hours per week.
Personal time off not a problem when notice is given.
This position is a good fit for someone who can work with others in a crew, but also independently and doesn't mind being sent to another site and can complete projects alone when needed, and has no problem taking direction and following jobsite instructions, as well doing quality work.
* Finish carpentry work
* Interior and exterior trim
* Decking, framing, repairs, and general carpentry
* Occasional siding and roofing repairs
* Jobsite prep and cleanup
* Following instructions from the lead carpenter or project manager
* Helping wherever needed to keep the job moving
**Candidate should have:**
* Experience in all fields of carpentry
* Reliable transportation
* Basic carpentry tools
* Strong work ethic
* Ability to take direction without issue
* Willingness to work on different types of projects
* Attention to detail
* Dependability and a good attitude
**Pay:** Currently 1099 without benefits, but may change. Rate based on experience.
