We are seeking an experienced Gas Line Installation Technician to join our growing team. This position involves installing propane and natural gas piping systems for residential and commercial projects, including new construction, pool equipment, generators, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, tankless water heaters, and other gas appliances.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well independently, and can represent the company professionally in the field.
Responsibilities:
Install propane and natural gas piping systems
Run galvanized pipe, CSST, and underground gas lines
Install regulators, shutoff valves, sediment traps, and appliance connections
Pressure test gas systems and troubleshoot leaks
Read blueprints, site plans, and gas layouts
Install gas piping for generators, pool heaters, fireplaces, fire features, outdoor kitchens, tankless water heaters, ranges, dryers, and other appliances
Ensure all work complies with applicable codes and company standards
Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
Communicate professionally with customers, builders, inspectors, and coworkers
Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Requirements:
Experience installing propane and/or natural gas piping systems
Knowledge of galvanized pipe, CSST, regulators, and gas appliance connections
Ability to read plans and follow layouts
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Reliable, dependable, and punctual
Professional appearance and attitude
Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physical labor daily
Must be able to work outdoors in Florida conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with residential and commercial gas systems
LP Gas experience
Mechanical, plumbing, or construction background
CDL a plus
Industry certifications a plus
