We seek an experienced Solidworks Designer/Drafter to join our growing team. The Drafter will be responsible for generating detailed product drawings and Bills of Material (BOM) in support of manufacturing, new product design and estimating activities. Duties and Responsibilities:
Design custom solutions to meet customer needs
Create shop drawings
Generate work tickets and cut lists
Trouble shoot design or installation issues
Conduct field measures as necessary
Develop specifications and BOMs for new products
Create drafting templates
Source specialty or non-stocked materials needed to complete projects
Provide additional support and reporting as needed
Submit plans and manage permitting process
Experience/Requirements:
Proven experience in 3D drafting with Solidworks
Proven experience with Solidworks Weldments
Knowledge of welding symbols
Fabrication experience highly desirable
Working experience with frame structures
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
