Full Job Description:
Seeking qualified, experienced Operating Engineers. The successful candidate will safely operate heavy construction equipment used in excavation, drilling, trenching, grading, and underground utility work while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
SKILLED & TRAINED WORKFORCE REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have completed a California DIR-approved Operating Engineer Apprenticeship program and be able to provide proof of graduation. Documentation may be requested to verify compliance with California Skilled & Trained Workforce (STW) requirements.
Qualifications:
• Graduated from a California DIR-approved Operating Engineer Apprenticeship Program
• Minimum of 4 years of experience of heavy equipment operating experience preferred
• Ability to safely perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members
• Successfully pass a background check
Compensation:
Pay: $96.68 – 102.34
License/Certification:
Apprenticeship Program Graduate (Required)
