Teton STS150NT for sale. This is a small company that designs guitars in the US, but has them hand crafted in China – they have a good reputation for having a great sound for the price. This is a dreadnought body with 14 frets, Scale Length: 25.5" Nut Width: 43mm Body Upper Bout: 11.5" Body Lower Bout: 15.5" Waist: 10.625"Depth: 4.75". The top is solid spruce, with ‘layered’ rosewood back and sides.
Yes, you read that right, body depth is nearly 5”, so it has a strong sound with good bass punch. Other details are the abalone inlay around the sound hole, and I love how the bottom of the fretboard is shaped to match the sound hole.
It was manufactured in 2015 and has been played steadily, but not heavily. So it has had time for the sound to open up, but wear and tear is minimal. The frets are good, there are a few small dings on the top, and a little bit of wear on the back, but overall in great shape for its age.
It comes with a passive pickup installed – K&K Pure Mini. This is an under-saddle pickup with a great reputation and sound. The strap button was placed on the heel of the neck, so your strap will strain the neck less and I think it makes the strap more comfortable.
I will include the original pick guard, (they send this with the guitar as an option for you to put it on) and an extra saddle. The current saddle gives it a low action – good for fingerpicking or more delicate playing. The second saddle is higher and would be better for heavy strumming, flatpicking, etc..
