Seabury is seeking a school bus driver. Responsibilities of the position include:
-Pickup and dropoff routes on scheduled weekdays.
-Periodically driving students on field trips during the school day. Field trips are scheduled in advance.
Experience: Previous experience driving a school bus is required. Applicants must have a current CDL with passenger and school bus driver endorsements and a clean driving record. Air brake endorsement is not required. Strong applicants have demonstrated the ability to create a safe, positive experience on the bus for children. This would be a perfect job for someone retired looking for a job share for 20 hours a week plus field trips.
Schedule and Opportunity: This position begins with immediate substitute coverage. Following that, work will be available on an as-needed basis, with the potential to join Seabury's regular driver rotation for additional opportunities throughout the school year. Our morning route is from 6:00-8:30 am. The afternoon route is from 3:00-5:15. Can only do morning or afternoon? Apply anyways!
Pay: The pay range for this position is $29-$35 per hour, depending on qualifications.
