⛵️PRIVATE SAILING LESSONS
I have been sailing since I was eleven years old and was trained in La Havre, Nova Scotia, on Fortune Bay on Prince Edward Island, Canada, as well as at sea around Martha’s Vineyard and Catalina Islands.
I have been sailing on Puget Sound for eleven years and am a classified teacher at Tacoma Public Schools.
One of my favorite sail training positions was on 148 ft. extreme square-topsail schooner Shenandoah with 7,000 square feet of sail.
The fundamentals of sailing are all the same independent of the size of vessel you’re on.
You will be learning to sail in a hands on, experiential approach on a beautiful 30 ft. racing Etchells here on Commencement Bay, Tacoma. My sailboat boat is at Tyee Marina at Brown’s Point.
