I am a Tacoma Public School teacher's assistant (classified paraprofessional) and have some free time this summer to help you and your kids to learn and grow in a creative, safe, and fun environment.
I was previously a K-8 Certificated teacher in Seattle Public Schools and have worked as a marine naturalist at two marine institutes, as well as the Pacific Science Center.
I have been working with youth (ages 4-18 years old) for many decades and am also a gourmet professional chef, ceramic artist, former baseball coach, naturalist, oil painter, avid sailor and writer. I also play guitar and love the outdoors (I was a NPS ranger at Olympic National Park previously)
I have a current WA State driver's license have worked as a lifeguard in the past at a kids camp.
I also available to help prepare delicious meals (fresh, Italian-inspired, gourmet, healthy) which kids will love. I can also teach them the basics of great cooking, like my mother taught me.
Humor, imagination, scientific curiosity and adventure-----------not sitting around passively watching AI, scrolling screens———-are other important parts of what I offer.
I am trustworthy and reliable. My compensation is very fair ——-and I have excellent references.
I have many wholesome / family-centered / role modeling leadership skills to offer————as you can see.
