For glass, you can find cranberry glass bowl with its matching ladle sitting beside pink Depression glass and a ruffled milk glass hobnail bowl. Elsewhere, there is a marigold carnival glass bowl, cut glass dishes, frosted leaf tumblers with gold trim, and a ruby faceted vase.
Kitchenware is led by Corning Ware in Spice of Life and Cornflower alongside an asparagus pitcher and ceramic artichoke and zucchini pieces. Elsewhere you can find red and blue rimmed enamelware, Schilling cayenne and sage tins, and an Ateco pastry set still in its box. Orange refrigerator dishes, a hammered aluminum casserole, a two-cup flour sifter, and a Nestle Toll House tin finish off the kitchenware.
There is rack of cookbooks, including an International Harvester Refrigerator Recipes booklet and Frank Oliver’s Chinese Cooking. Better Homes and Gardens, Family Circle, Sunset, Williams-Sonoma, and The Washington Cookbook fill the rest, along with 365 Ways to Cook Hamburger.
There is a nice selection of media, including LIFE, Story Parade, and an October 1965 Boys’ Life, plus In Hanging Gardens sheet music. Folk, calypso, and classical LPs sit next to big band CDs, Western VHS tapes, and Little Golden Books like About the Seashore.
Shop 36 is the second to last Shop on the Northwest corner of the first aisle. Come see for yourself.
