Field Forge Group deploys IoT monitoring equipment for national clients. We’re assigning a Central & Western New York territory to an independent field installer and looking for someone who can work independently, move efficiently, and maintain strong production.
This is routed field work. You receive an assigned list of customer locations and work it stop-to-stop performing a simple equipment upgrade.
The physical installation generally takes under five minutes once trained.
The real job is moving efficiently through the territory and documenting every installation correctly in a smartphone app.
The assigned territory contains approximately 390 locations throughout Central and Western New York.
At a 90–95% completion rate, the territory represents approximately $5,250–$5,550 in available installation work.
Productive installers can earn approximately:
$2,400–$2,900+ PER WEEK
Paid weekly by direct deposit for the prior week’s approved installations.
HOW THE TERRITORY WORKS
This is not random driving.
The route is organized geographically so you complete one area before moving into the next, minimizing backtracking and repeat travel through previously completed territory.
The territory progresses through multiple parts of Central and Western New York, including areas around Syracuse, the North Country, Western New York, the Finger Lakes, the Mohawk Valley, and the Catskills/Hudson region.
Some portions of the route will require overnight travel.
You use your own vehicle and are responsible for your own:
Fuel
Vehicle expenses
Tolls
Lodging
Meals
Other normal travel costs
This opportunity is best suited for someone comfortable treating the territory as a traveling production route, not someone looking for a local 8-to-5 position.
THE WORK
Follow an assigned mapped route
Call customers before arrival
Perform a simple equipment installation
Photograph and submit each work order through our field app
Manage assigned equipment inventory
Move efficiently through the territory
There is no selling and no payment collection.
DOCUMENTATION IS THE JOB
The installation itself is simple.
Correct photos and documentation are required for approval.
Missing or incorrect documentation means the work order cannot be approved — and unapproved installs do not pay.
REQUIREMENTS
Reliable vehicle
Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
Smartphone with reliable data service
Cordless drill/driver
Small flat-head screwdriver
Comfortable working outdoors
Comfortable driving a full territory day
Comfortable with overnight travel when required
Able to work independently
Strong attention to detail
Able to maintain a consistent production pace
No experience with this specific equipment is required.
Field service, route delivery, telecom, cable, utilities, HVAC, maintenance, handyman, pest control, and other mobile-service experience translates well.
TRAINING — MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14 — SYRACUSE AREA
Hands-on training covers the equipment, installation process, field app, required photos, customer communication, and proper work-order completion.
You’ll complete live installations during training before working independently.
This is 1099 independent-contractor work.
