Bauer Bros Plumbing & Heating is seeking skilled and dependable Plumbing Service & Installation Technician's to join our growing team. This is a field-based position responsible for performing new plumbing installations, service calls, repairs, and maintenance for residential and/or commercial customers.
The ideal candidate is a motivated professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, provides excellent customer service, and can work independently and with others while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and commercial settings.
• Respond to service calls and accurately diagnose plumbing issues.
• Install, replace, and service plumbing fixtures, piping, water heaters, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and installation specifications.
• Troubleshoot plumbing systems and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with applicable plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding work performed and recommended services.
• Complete service reports, documentation, and other required paperwork.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians and office staff to complete projects efficiently.
Qualifications
• Previous plumbing experience required; experience with both installations and service work preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, materials, and installation techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
• Plumbing trade school or apprenticeship experience.
• Relevant plumbing licenses or certifications.
• Experience with residential and/or commercial plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations.
