We are looking for an experienced carpenter or structural contractor for a property on Hope Avenue in Syracuse, NY.
The property has become noticeably tilted/uneven, and the central support beam needs to be properly jacked up and leveled. We are looking for someone with experience handling structural framing, support beams, house leveling, and related carpentry work.
Scope of work may include:
Inspect the existing central/support beam and surrounding structure.
Determine the proper method to safely jack and support the beam.
Jack the beam back into the appropriate position/level.
Repair, reinforce, or replace structural components as needed.
Address any related framing or flooring issues caused by the settling/tilting.
Provide recommendations for permanently supporting the structure after leveling.
Requirements:
Proven experience with structural carpentry and support beams.
Experience with house leveling, jacking beams, or similar structural repairs preferred.
Must have your own tools and equipment.
Must be able to assess the condition of the structure before beginning work.
References and photos of previous structural projects are preferred.
Must be reliable and able to provide a clear estimate for the work.
Important: This is structural work, not a basic handyman or cosmetic carpentry job. We are looking for someone who understands load-bearing structures and can perform the work safely and properly.
