Original Nicholas de Grandmaison oil on canvas board. Same painting sold at Heffels nov 2016 for just over 35000.00 I’m asking 22500.00 and open to serious offer after viewing. The painting is 24 in by 18 in oil on canvas board. Is titled both front and back. Very very nice painting of John Hunter ,Chief sitting Eagle Chiniki Band Stoney Nakoda painted 1945. That all said painting is priced below what it achieved at auction in 2016 and truly is a spectacular example of his oil paintings on canvas . Very few paintings in oil on canvas. . Since posting another came up at hodgins Auction in Calgary and sold for about 28000.00 with auction fees. So think if you want a piece of history you’re going to have to step up.ph Russ show contact info .
