Large professionally framed photograph from the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, showing the Olympic Stadium during the Opening Ceremony with the cauldron lit, fireworks overhead and the participating nations assembled on the stadium floor.
The New Zealand Olympic delegation can be seen among the athletes, making this an especially appropriate piece from this New Zealand Olympic and cycling estate collection.
Professionally framed and matted by King of Arts Framing Gallery, Pukekohe, New Zealand.
Approximate overall framed size:
24" wide
18" high
1" deep
Substantial metallic-finish frame with cream matting and glass front.
Very impressive Olympic display piece with strong visual impact. The frame shows some light surface wear and marks consistent with age and display. Photograph and presentation appear very good overall.
PART OF A LARGE OLYMPIC & CYCLING ESTATE COLLECTION.
Many additional Olympic, BMX and cycling items from this collection are being posted separately, including photographs, credentials, memorabilia, clothing and participant-associated pieces.
