WHAT IS IN THE KIT (card contents line): makeup palette (net wt .31 oz / 9 g), 2 eyelashes, lash adhesive (net wt .03 oz / .8 g), 1 glitter tattoo, 2 lip rings, purple lipstick (net wt .045 oz / 1.3 g), sponge and brush. In the blister you can see a 3-well cream palette (grey/silver, dark grey/black and pink), a purple/gold lipstick tube, a glitter tattoo sheet with a snake design plus 2 silver lip rings, a pair of pink glitter eyelashes with an eyelash adhesive tube, a sponge and a brush.
Ideas for looks: snake, Halloween, goth, punk and costume party (suggestions only; the card shows a face with glitter snake tattoo and purple lips).
LATEX WARNING: the eyelash adhesive contains natural rubber latex (first ingredient listed: Rubber Latex). If you have a latex allergy, please do not use the adhesive. The card also says a patch test is recommended.
CARD CONDITION (please read): New on the original card with light wear from hanging on a peg wall: a few small marks and a slight curl at the corners (see photos). The blister is fine and the contents are sealed and unopened.
PHOTO NOTE: the front of the card had a store inventory sticker at the upper left and a printed "$9.99" price at the upper right. In photo 1 (the main photo) both were digitally removed and the blue background was rebuilt where they were. The face art and the products were not retouched. Please do not use either as the price; this listing's price is the price above. All other photos are not retouched.
Directions (from the back of the package; the full text is in photos 4 and 5): BEFORE YOU BEGIN: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND COMPLETELY. ABOUT THIS MAKEUP: This Fun World makeup is manufactured from ingredients generally recognized as safe for use in cosmetics. However, as with any cosmetic, some individuals may experience an allergic reaction. A patch test is recommended. Apply a spot of product to inside elbow or wrist. Leave for 30-60 minutes. If a reaction occurs, discontinue use. HELPFUL HINTS: Place all materials onto a flat, comfortable work area, in front of a well-lit mirror. Before applying makeup, slip on any part of costume that requires stretching over the head. Follow picture on front of card or use your imagination. APPLYING MAKEUP: Apply a thin, smooth layer of cream foundation makeup to the face. With pencil or dark makeup, create arched eyebrows. Outline eyes, upper and lower, in black. Gently smudge to create a slightly sunken eye effect. Apply purple lipstick and with the tip of the brush, outline the lower lip in black. APPLYING EYELASHES: Lashes are held onto eyelash with a small amount of temporary adhesive. To remove lashes, gently lift lash band off tray. Note! Never use a sharp or pointed device near the eyes! Before using adhesive, practice applying lashes. Steps 1 to 5 (practice fitting, applying the eyelash adhesive, applying the lash, fluffing the lashes, removing the eyelashes), APPLYING TATTOO (wash and dry the area, peel the tattoo from the clear backing, place on skin; removal: gently peel off) and REMOVAL (makeup: wipe off excess with paper towel or tissue, wash with warm water and soap) are printed in photos 4 and 5.
CAUTION (as printed): DO NOT USE HOT PINK MAKEUP IN OR AROUND THE EYE AREAS. Take care! Makeup can permanently stain some fabrics and surfaces. Use with care. Never use in carpeted areas.
